Old large heavy antique copper cooking vessel of some sort my mother bought in England decades ago. I'm pretty sure the bottom initial is 'H'. The top one is maybe 'C', possibly something else. No other stamps or marks anywhere on the item so i assume these are owner or household initials. Thoughts/comments on this marking?

Think you're right on both initials! And WELCOME to ANTIQUERS!!:happy:

Could be owner's initials... could also be the initials of a hotel or even hospital that owned/used it, especially if it is a "large" vessel, as you say.
I agree that the initial on top is C.
    I love old copper cookware!
