Can anyone tell me about this poster? I found it today at a small haitian thrift store along with 6-7 star wars battlefront posters + a Kobe Bryant poster ($10 for all!)
I love the colors but when I tried to put it in one of my 24" x 36" frames I use just to photograph a poster before selling it - it was way too big; It measures 26.5 x 39"! (Notice how right side appears cut off with no margin? Maybe this was a bigger poster (like a "subway" movie poster?) that was cut to a more usable size?)
Is this a normal size for what I think is a exhibition poster? What's with the name Ludwig? When I googled Pablo Picasso Ludwig? I came up with a museum in Cologne - is that where this is from?
    Any thoughts on value?
Thanks - as always I am grateful for your help.

The exhibition was of the Ludwig Collection (Colleccio Ludwig) at the Museo Picasso in Barcelona, Spain. I don't know offhand who "Ludwig" was, but Ludwig was most likely the surname of a collector of Picasso's works.

This is probably what you saw in your search.

So this Barcelona appearance was a travelling exhibition from the Museum ("one of the largest collections of the works of Picasso.")

Not if you’re using the metric system. It is,after all, a European poster. One metre equals 39.37 inches

The painting is "Matador e Femme Nue". That image doesn't seem to be clipped, but the few Ludwig posters I saw online do have borders all round, so a white border on the right side might have been removed. I'm not finding others of this particular poster to compare.
