    Hello all

Found this oddity in a local shop, no idea what it is. The maker, A KENRICK & SONS seem to have made a variety of household items. The registered design number 15021 should put this at around 1885.

It painted iron, quite heavy, and the second piece is held on by a wingnut, and can move about an inch up or down when loose. Quite elegantly decorated. Approx 9.5 inch length and 5.5 inch at widest point.
