While the art work is not familiar to me, the shape, cylinder/two sets of two ribs, is. Look to eastern Massachusetts, ca 1860-70. (art, Japanese influence after 1864)

Look, don''t know who made them. I do know that both New England (Cambridge Mass,) and Boston and Sandwich (Sandwich Mass) made similar styles. I don't know if other companies made them or not. There may have been a couple of companies who copied and produced them.

So, I'm not committing as to the manufacture, the art work is not that of either of the above companies quality.

    Maybe Eastern Mass, maybe not.

I've had a number of these cylinder vases by either New England or B&S. The bottoms were always smooth.

There is an article in an old Glass Collectors Digest about ring vases with "cleat" bases which were used to turn the glass in the mold to wipe off the mold lines. I want to say Mt Washington but not bases. I no longer of the magazines.
