Picked these up today for a song and a dance. Can not find another pair exactly like them online anywhere. The detail to me is awesome, right down to the suspended tongues between their teeth. I am begging to hear some opinions as to their possible age and more. I believe they are cast solid ceramic(my guess) and heavy for their size weighing in at over 5lbs each, 6.5” tall. Online pairs run for $14 - $600(non like this) most of which are high-end or bronze.

    I’m all ears.....(ok, really.... Eyes )

Many thanks @Ce BCA, and indeed that has more similarities than anything I have found online. Looking at the bottoms there are some very distinct differences, so this should at the very least indicate different molds. Imitation is the finest form of flattery :), and the Lacquer version, seems to have taken some shortcuts. Again, thank you as this give me more to look into.

Ha, that is EXACTLY what I told my wife, Lillei. :) For centuries, men play games and call it work, while leaving the real hard work to the women. ;)
