Pair of Brass Candlesticks

    ANother estate find. 9 3/4" tall, heavy and all 1 piece which you don't usually see.. Any idea on age?

    Early 20th century, up to WWII. In the style of Jarvie but not by them.

    There is a set exactly like mine on Ebay that someone is atributing to Gyllenberg.

    Not identical but very close. Your candle cups are more squared at the bottom and there is a slight difference to the turned detail just below. Slight height difference as well.

    From the listing:
    "In the style of F.J.R. Gyllenberg, yet unincised/unmarked, so we won’t attribute"

    I am not familiar with Gyllenberg having candlesticks like this so really can not comment. There were a lot of makers knocking these off from Jarvie.
