I have a pair of eye glasses with round lenses. They look old.
I have no idea of who made them or how old they are. Does
anyone know something about eye glasses who could let me
know who made them and how old they are even decade would
    help me? Thank you. Rob

Looks like a P3 frame,it's been around since the 1930's and was still being sold in the 1980's.... https://focusers.com/blogs/news/the-evolution-of-p3-frames

Have had several like this made up with my own prescription over the years. Last time I wanted to have it done, couldn't find anyone who would do it. Great glasses that don't fall off easily. Usually, gold filled so they wear very well.

1930s. Both grandfathers (one silver, one gold), a bunch of great uncles, and a great aunt (gold).

I can not read it even under light with my magnifier. I will have to go ask a jeweler
to what is writtened on the temples. Thank you for the location of where that information is found. Rob

I was unable to read what it said on the temples of the glasses but it might say how
many K. I am unable to read it under light and magnifying glass. I will have to go
see and ask a jeweler to read it to me. Thank you. Rob

Thank you for the decade as to when these were made. Cool ancestory history to
remember the glasses to, too. Rob

I went to the jewelry store and the lady used a loupe to read the temples.
It says 1/10 12K Gold filled. So, I assume that means 1/10th 12K Gold filled.
Is that good or bad? Rob

You are spot on that is what it said on the temples 1/10 12K Goldfilled according to the jeweler who used her loupe to read it. Thank you for the information. Rob
