Just got these at and unbelievable .99¢ for the pair. They were both covered with epoxy glue(see 2nd image) on the backs. First thing I did when I got home was to get it off. Was told they are late 19th c. But I find them in very good condition. Can they be datable? They are a nice 9” diameter each.

"P. Ipsen, Kjobenhavn, Eneret" was used from 1871-1917. According to the internet. I suspect they can be dated more precisely though.

Those are Bertel Thorvaldsen's designs for the Ages of Man. The hunter bringing meat home to his family appears on cameos regularly.

Awwh, yes. Thank you too @Bronwen, I knew you were going to chime in on the characters. Loved your information.

These are not P. Ipsen Kjobenhavn :)

After finding that these were originally a set of four, I revisited seller’s list of items for sale and found the other two, explained the story and made a low but reasonable offer. Woke up this morning and, Wallaa. So they will soon be all back together. These are sellers images... :)

Thanking both wonderful ladies for info.

I have collected these scenes from Thorvaldsen myself. What a lovely set you have and congrats on getting all four!
