Pair Wooden Chairs

    If you were to move these to the furniture forum you may get some more feed back, I do like the chairs.

    The multi-board seats indicate that these are fairly modern chairs. Certainly 20th century. Possibly as early as 1930 but more likely post-WWII. They are Windsor style with a center back splat. The design of the splat is somewhat unusual. Not entirely sure of the wood. Maybe birch.

    Vintage mid 20th century. Handsome, but not something on which you could retire :).

    Thanks for the replies. They did look good quality but not old enough and I also noticed the multi board seats.
