Pastel nude sketch Listed regional artist Reif Erickson

    Picked this up this morning. I find lots of his work being sold but can't seem to find any of this type. Most are landscapes.
    it is 17" x 21" Sadly he passed away in 2015 at only 66 years old.
    Tell me what you all think of this piece.

    If I cover up one side of her face I find her beautiful .. cover up the other side not so lovely. It's very interesting, like two different people .. and VERY well done !! Anybody got any male nudes that I can study and comment on ?? :) ... Joy.

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    I think it's quite lovely! I do love the colors and the way the artist handled the play of light across her! Very nicely done!!!!! It's a very simple sketch, and yet just enough!!!:):):)

    Thank you SIS and everyone. I'm happy to hear everyone likes her. My son wants her but his wife says no. Tonka obviously doesn't and is even afraid of her. But he doesn't get a vote. So I'll be listing her tonight.
