Paul Revere? White porcelain creamer? Toby jug?

Any thoughts on this piece? It is 4 1/4" to the side edge. No marks except for that red A you see on the bottom.

Reminds me of an early Geo Washington. It is a character jug, Toby's have the full figure not just the head and shoulders. Cute piece but no idea who, what, when and where.

I could see both Paul Revere and President Washington as well.

 

I'll look around using the words character jug & see if there are any hits using George rather than Paul. All I got when I used Paul Revere was lots of silver & the Liberty dishes.

I think I found your pitcher. It is George from the 1939 Worlds Fair in NYC. I knew he looked familiar then I remembered I thought I saw him in my Fiesta book.

 

I don't think it is the Fiestaware one. There is a too much difference in the handle,hair and collar. I do think it is Washiington though

 

I found a few but it doesn't look like they sell too well so off to the auction box Georgie-Boy is going.

I think you are right. The HLC one is bigger and a little different, I blame it on low blood sugar of Good Friday.
