Hi!
I purchased this ornate brass box secondhand, with an Austrian label. I haven’t been able to find much information about Paul Tollinger or the box, except that he may have been a glassmaker. Does anyone have any information about it?

 

Based on what IM Translator says is on the label, I would say Tollinger sold home decor items & is not the maker of the box.

Something along those lines. The translator in my brain says picture frames, mirrors and glass wholesaler. A shop in Innsbruck, next to the "Goldenes Dachl", the "Golden Roof".
This wouldn't have been his specialty, but sold in his shop alongside picture frames etc.
Nothing about the manufacturer though.

Tourists visiting the region come to see this historic building, and many would visit nearby shops, so Tollinger's shop was in a prime location. It is likely that it was underneath one of the arches:
