A pair of earrings with a cluster of small pearls, not sure if they are real, but one is missing. Is it worth replacing?
    Any idea of age etc

    many thanks

If pearls are glued, like these, they are usually not real. You can test one by rubbing it against the front of your teeth. If it feels slightly gritty, they are real. If it feels smooth they are faux.
Assuming they are faux: If people happen to have faux pearls lying around that they can use, I'd say glue one in that is the same colour and size.
But it is not worth the money to invest in a replacement.

Probably costume pearls on a sterling backing. It wasn't uncommon in the 50s. If the outer faux pearls are wired on I'd probably replace everything since I wear screwbacks and brass wire breaks. If real I'd probably have a go at fixing them, since I have some half-drilled pearls stashed somewhere.
