I found this today with 3 - 4 other vintage posters at my thrift store. I know it's a Cuban revolution hero (or enemy?) Jose Marti- I bought it because it is a pencil signed limited edition Cuban Jose Marti poster that should sell easily in Miami.
But I am not sure who signed it?
I think the writing in the center says Hugo & Estrella?
On right it looks like Carol? Who I think was the painter? (OK I know my gringo is showing! But I can speak more Spanish that I can read!)
Googling him shows some stuff, but not this piece; is this a winner?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Yugo y Estrella, I think.

It says it right in the corner, Alberto Jorge Carol. It is a reproduction signed in such a huge number as to be worth not much than a regular poster print.

The print/poster is reproduction but the pencil signature is real. I won't argue the value with you - I thought it was Carol but I wasn't sure if his signature was worth anything so I asked.
    Thanks for the info

The Yoke and the Star. Yugo y estrella is the title of one of his poems.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

    the pencil signature is real......
but that's the way all 4000 were signed..... so no value added.....unless he would have added a remarque.....
