These were put into storage yesterday. Have not had a chance to research them yet. Did make a few images some look a little promising. What do you think of them? 20180729_074558.jpg 20180729_074605.jpg 20180729_074613.jpg 20180729_074618.jpg 20180729_074622.jpg 20180729_074627.jpg 20180729_074635.jpg 20180729_074641.jpg 20180729_074646.jpg 20180729_074659.jpg

    HC: Hors Commerce
Hors Commerce prints, or HC’s as they are called in the industry, are very similar to Artist Proofs except they are only available through the artist directly. The artist receives these as a gift for allowing the publisher to print their images. The term «Hors Commerce» means «Out of Trade» in English.
Of all the «special prints», the HC are the most valuable, since they are more rare.

    Barbara Munns is a H/C

Wow, Thanks Fid, I have never been to Paris thanks thanks for sharing your insight. I feel like I just took a stroll along the Seine.

INH You know I have a chance to aquire another Albert Kaufman number on it was 238/1500 It was a print of a ship in black and white. I could not get both so I chose the one above because of the low numbers. He had about 20 different ones and I liked them all. The choices you sometime have to make is'nt life wonderful. The dealer and friend of mind at the flea market said that these were in a gallery that he cleaned out.

The last one is probably a newspaper comic script from the 80s here is a better image of the signature 20180801_201357.jpg 20180801_163942.jpg

Dewey, Cheatum and Howe (i.e., do we cheat them and how) is a common fictional name for a law firm which fits with the principals of the firm notation on the bottom.
