Today's lucky find - pewter mug - about 5" high. I think it looks British but I don't really know where to begin as far as identifying the maker's marks on the bottom. (There's a large mark on top with a crown and perhaps cloverleaf underneath? then four smaller marks underneath -one has an H, one has a dragon? one has 3 stars, the last is too blurred) Any help very much appreciated.

Book was published in 1908. Ok if your maker has been around "forever." Item looks brand-new, might be 21st C. Product?

FYI to anyone interested - I did get a postive ID on this as an accurately done 20th century reproduction of an 18th century piece. The "hallmarks"(smaller marks) are copies of the 18th century hallmarks of a pewtersmith in Bewdley UK - and the large one is the touchmark of the 20th century repro maker.
