folks do collect old photos....and this is a sweet subject matter....
or at least it used to be....

 

I took it out of the frame and I believe it’s a photo. It’s on paper that feels like it could be but I can’t guarantee. It might be a reproduction. The frame is nice

 

1980s saw a lot of people taking old photos and reproducing them for decorating.
Frame is definitely of that time period. Framer has a zip code

 

Agreed. With the copyright right on the image too.

Copyright held by R Hendricksen, but I don't know whether that was the original photographer or the person who happened to own it when the copy was made.

 

That looks like a 1970s photograph staged to look Old Time-y. And that's what it is after some quick internet research on R. Hendrickson.

Thank you all so much! You guys are great. I’m not sure if it’s an actual photo though. It may just be a print. The paper is heavier than normal but I’m not sure

 

It does appear to be a print, not an original photograph. (And unless artist having a renaissance, can't image will have much value.)
