Caledonia bringing home the Scottish clans of...America? July 1928. It's two passenger liners but beyond that, dunno.

 

You now know it depicts a real event. Is it a print? Signed? Anything on the back?

I can see the sig Tom Mcvey bottom rh side, can’t find any info about him though.

Cassy, if you know the artist is Tom McVey, the work has a title describing historical occasion and the ships are identified... What else do you need?

So if we know what the picture is about and that it depicts an actual historical event, and who painted it, what else would you like to know about it?

 

Sometimes there’s a framers label on the back which often give phone numbers which include area code numbers, as these can change at certain dates that can tell you when something was framed or when a framers was actually in business. As there is no date on the picture and you have/had all the other info already I assumed that perhaps was what you wanted to know?
