All I can think of this is fruitcake when I see it. I know it has nothing to do with it but I cannot associate the symbols with each other to point me in any direction. It is a very thin glass. The last pic shows what I think is a seam. It's about 9.5" in diameter. The shape reminds me of those things they use to align your chakras. I'm all over the place on this. Any ideas on the maker, origin, age, glass technique, or whatever?

I just liked the color so much! Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. It's Friday!! Whoop, whoop!

It's by Oiva Toika--from the Flora series, I believe. Lovely bowl!

Wow! This stuff is from the 60’s??? I need to find some of her birds! Mine must have never been used. It’s pristine. I thought it was newer stuff. The color in person is amazing!! I would never have found this. Thank you so much for the reply!!

I do have a soft spot for Oiva Toikka's work. His work is really timeless
(so many of the mid-century Finns and Scandinavians have designs that always work in any setting--just look at Alvar Aalto's gorgeous peices still in prodyction from the 1950s, for example).

I have two of his owls and they bring me so much delight! I have a bunch of his Flora bowls/vases, too--but all in clear. I hadn't realised there were coloured ones around, so thanks for alerting me to them! Enjoy your own bowl--it's a beauty!

I think the color is amazing. I could never keep it. They are bulls in a china shop around here. It would end up in pieces for sure. I don’t buy new china any longer because it all ends up chipped Lol
