Not sure if it's depression. Its a pink glass disk pitcher with a concave circle on each side. Any ideas? Thanks a1c1a.jpg

[IMG] This is what I find when I search for Blenko pink water pitcher. Which means it is not Blenko glass, or it is not common at all and I have yet to locate it.

    Think it's Duncan Miller.
Will have to check my book. What I've mostly seen that in is the black vase.

It's not in the book I have here at home.
If no one comes up with it I'll check my book at the store.

The other possibility that is niggling at me is Cambridge.

Cambridge was my guess but I'll wait.

The shape is different than Blenko. I would agree with it being from one of the Elegant Glassmakers. I'm not sure if it is from the Depression-era or after.

My first thought was Cambridge, it is similar to their 3400 line as well as their Caprice pattern, but their pitchers were ball-shaped this appears to have flattish sides.

Yes, indeed... Now that I see them side-by-side, I have to agree!

This Morgantown pitcher is the closest I've found, but the shape doesn't look quite right as the base appears round in the OP's and rectangular in the ad. Also pink is not among the colors listed in the ad I found in HMW2

So I'm sorry I didn't have time to go through my books today.

However, I have this vase in my store and this is what I was thinking was Duncan Miller. Had a minute to check and it's Fostoria not Duncan Miller. Sorry if I sent you on a wild goose chase.

If this is the same shape. Then I would start looking at the Fostoria lines.
Believe I had Fostoria #2404 marked on the vase. I didn't think to write it down.

Geesh! I just noticed the price on 1stdibs:eek::eek::eek:

Similar to Fostoria, but different, pitcher has a foot, vase not so much. Certainly a different mold.

The quality of the ware indicates that it probably was made during the depression period, but by an elegant glass maker, Among the elegant manufacturers were Heisey, Fostoria, Cambridge, etc.
