Featured Pink ribbed fluted vase

Pink ribbed fluted vase. 4" top diameter from tip to tip, 2 5/8" bottom diameter x 10 5/8" height from tip to ground. I would like to find out company name, pattern and era. Thank you for your assistance in this item. Rob

 

Another Fine Rib pattern.

Often times the patterns made in carnival glass were also made in clear or colored glass.
Pink seems a little unusual and may have been made in the 1930s. So you need to look at companies that made carnival glass and were also still producing glass at a later time.

Or a company whose patterns may have been bought by another company and produced in other colors.

 

Fenton did some very similar - and it might be my eyes this morning - but I see seams or mold marks near the base and I believe those would have been fire polished off with Fenton. Duncan Miller could be another possibility.

 

Outside chance it is a Northwood variation.

 

These swung vases are hard to ID as the pattern gets distorted. Often also done for carnival glass. You may get a lead at ddoty.com a carnival glass site.

According to ddoty.com, "With an identical name and similar design, this vase is frequently confused with Fenton's version. The most obvious difference is that the ribs continue all the way to the top edge, in contrast to a smooth band around the top of the Fenton. There is only one base size in the Northwood; 3 1/2 inches. Some are marked with the Northwood "N.""

 

Do you think this is the same as the vase that I have above in terms of company and pattern as follows:

looks to be Fenton 1126 c1910 in carnival glass and c1930s in pink, but also made over many years. Another difference from Northwood is that Fenton's ribs have a scalloped formation at the bottom.
