    hey guys. I’ve had this TV since it came out and I’ve used it extensively. It has never been moved and is in excellent shape. I can’t find its value anywhere online, so I figured the experts here would help me find out.

    It’s a Pioneer Elite Pro-98.

    Thanks!

    Its an obsolete brand from 1996. Very little value unless you get lucky. Also, not an antique, not vintage, not collectible. Kinda confused as to why you are asking about it here and not some audio/video forum like www.avsforum.com.

    If I were to go asking about an antique cupboard on a car forum it would make about as much sense and be just as useful as asking about a modern TV here.

    I pointed him to a more proper place to get the information he desires.

    They even have a specific forum for crt/rear projection/older sets.

    Nice is nice, but so is finding a proper place to get an answer to your question. At least that's what I think.

    Is there a market for old projection TVs? Other than scrapping them for their components?

    @Kronos
    I wasn't being disrespectful to you. Please forgive me if you thought that. He's only 22, and to him it is probably an antique. So it would make sense to ask here.

    Plus we are nicer.
