Place to Purchase Used Books

Hi all!
This typically isn't my neck of the woods (though I own quite a few antique books myself), but I figured this question might pertain to this forum. I'm working on getting a gift for someone, and I think a really old edition (probably 18th or 19th century) of one of their favorite writers' books would be really sweet. The thing is I'd actually prefer for it to be more used-- I'm actually quite appreciative of dilapidated books that have been well-loved and even written in. Is there any website or marketplace that I could find older editions that aren't exactly pristine? Thanks for the help in advance.

 

addall - sort the books low to high ..that will give you the rattiest copies first in the list.

That's a lovely idea. I like abebooks.com but I suspect many if not most dealers, sell across multiple used book sites.
