    Cheap thrift store buy. Thought it might be Boy Scouts but there's no logo or markings of any kind except scratched name? on back. Then, some say they are not even boys. Girls or boys? and where from? or just generic soap box?

    Is the soap box plastic?
    If so it looks 1950ish. Travel soap.

    Can see a picture of it opened?

    Boys. This bathing in the wilderness image & the brown color were not meant to appeal to girls. And when girls are the age of these boys, they are not comfortable being nude in any way in front of others, even other girls. The child washing in the bucket appears to be shirtless.

    Yes, plastic.
    I couldn't get my phone to send the pic of it opened for some reason.
    Nothing extraordinary about the inside. Just the plastic molding points.


    Bronwen- good point about the color and image. Boys they are.
