The pattern is Ambassador, first issued in 1919. But as you can see from the illustration in this link, it was popular enough to have been made for a long time.

I love Altman's stuff. Mt favorite was a mercury glass lamp that they had on each counter on the first floor. I was heart broken when it broke into thousands of pieces.

Evidently several of my husbands family members loved it too! I keep finding more items purchased from there! Did you ever hear of a furniture store called Fennells?
