I’ve recently come into ownership of this beautiful old inkwell. I’ve spent a whole lot of time trying to research origins, but this proves to be a bit more difficult when I can’t seem to find any makers marks. (None on the ink bottle either). There are potentially very small ones on the underside of a flower, but it’s too hard to tell. I believe it’s silver plated brass, but I’m looking more for how old this might be? The style seems very nouveau, but that could span years.
Thanks so much for any help!!

I would really like to look at this, could you please go back and edit your post and under the "more option" box, go to the top of your photos and click on Insert Every Image as Full Image. I don't have any knowledge of your item, but maybe those who do will be able to see it better that way.

I’ve been wondering if this imagery has anything to do with the origins! Thank you for pointing that out.

Rococco rather than art nouveau. I'm thinking French. The shape is right , as is all that froo froo fluffery and frills. Church looks Northern France too. 1860s or a tad later.

I agree, Rococco Revival. Falls under the general umbrella of Historic Revival.
I would say late 19th century.
Of course they are, and your Alice probably knows them, she is a little genius.;):)
