Platform Rocking Chair

    Curious about any helpful information on this Platform Rocking Chair.
    Spring Chair, with wooden casters on front. Appears to be reupholstered.
    I observed both screws and nails used on frame. All screws are straight head.

    Very odd thing by American standards. Where are you and any provenance?

    Hi Brad,
    I think what is confusing is the upholstery. My Gram had the same oak platform rocker only it was covered with a black horse hair covering. I did not like it since it was "scratchy" top me. It did not have the high tech leather seen on the the OP chair. The back was very plain but I do not remember if the arms were curled or straight.
