Featured Please help ID Asian silver mark

    Yet another unidentified bit from the bin...

    This is a little (2" x 2") lidded piece with a small glass liner. I don't know what grade of silver it might be - or even if it's plated. Can anyone help with the mark? (Please forgive me if I've oriented it incorrectly.)

    @Couch Potato Wannabe can you please take a look?

    So if I’m seeing right, the lid fits very deep into the glass?

    Yes, the lid has a narrow part that fits about 1/2" down into the glass. (It is not an airtight fit.)

    宮本 = Miyamoto - (the maker)
    銀 = Silver

    Just as an off the wall comment, I like the ruler you used to show the size! Probably for school children, with all of the animals?
