    Tiles are 4 x4 on a tray but I can't safely remove one to look at the back

    Corner motif looks somewhat more Dutch than French ...

    My guess is French.
    The colours and the model of the trousers look Breton (western France).

    The French copied a lot of Dutch pottery in the 19th century, which could be how the corner motif ended up on these tiles. These don't look like copies of Dutch tiles to me, it is just a thought about the corner motif.
