Here I am, yet again, with another little item from the never-empty "bin"... This is a
    3 1/2" dish or coaster.

Can anyone tell me if the crowned "queen" mark is for Stockholm? Is the D8 for 1930? Also, whose is the lion with the initials HB?

I don't see any silver content marks - is this plated?

I truly appreciate any input! (I hate feeling so stupid!)

    Thanks so much!

Awww, you shouldn't feel stupid! You're right, the town mark is Stockholm (the 'queen' is Saint Erik), and the year is 1930 - should know the maker, but it's not coming to me...

Oops, I feel stupid - should have read more carefully, those are all the marks, right? Typically, if you see Swedish marks like those, without any indicator of silver content, then it's most likely pewter (the town and date would be the same), still feel like I know the mark...

Actually, Cheryl, pewter makes sense to me. I just didn't know that they used the same city and date marks on pewter as on silver... (Good to know!)

    Thanks again!
