    Hello there, i found this antique looking brass instrument in a box of brass and i have tried to identify it but i can't find anything similar, it has a mesh insert in the exit hole and some kind of nub at the right side, maybe this inserted into something?It looks really old with ancient looking repairs.
    Anyways i would appreciate any help identifying this mystery. Thanks in advance.

    Wow that's it! Thank you very much. I must have looked at every brass instrument that ever existed and never thought for a second it was off an old motorcycle/car.
