Hello everyone, I am new here, very happy to have found such an amazing community. I would like to ask for some help identifying the origin of this little vessel I bought at a local charity shop (Ireland). I have no experience whatsoever, really just bought it because I found it lovely. There is a sticker at the bottom but its partially torn off, I guess where the price was, so I couldn't identify the possible logo on it. I am thinking it may be North African in origin, but that's just a super wild guess. Its about 15 centimetres or around 6 inches tall. One side has a fish motif, the other some kind of a bird I guess.. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! I think the label name is Batik. That's all I got!

Batik is the name of the method/style of fabric decoration. Maybe the company that made the pot also sells batik fabric.

I suspect it is a modern decorative item. The rattan stitching would indicate it was made somewhere in Asia.
