PLEASE help identify the maker on this bronze statue :)

Starting the free association process that sometimes gets us to an answer. It's a variant on the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd. May be an historical clergyman, 19th century garb, I would guess.

The name is probably that of the sculptor who made the original. The maker of the statuette is someone else altogether.

 

I'm reading either "Thus" of "Flus"and think it might be bronzified brass.
Have you got a better shot of the bottom??

My quick guess would be that the artist is "T Hus"... not a clue who that might be, though.

 

I see JHus which could be Jan Hus.

 

I'm with Jivvy, I see T Hus.
I think the bit that makes it look like a J is part of a groove which extends below the H and ends just below the u.
