Please help identify this beautiful glass dish - sunflower cut glass with intricate edges

Is this lead crystal? The design and edges are very intricate - features two beautiful flowers with hexagonal centres. Any way to identify who created this piece? The one picture with the ruler is the bottom

My mother would have called this a pickle dish.
Def looks like lead crystal to me.

 

I can see it holding a matching sugar and creamer.

Yes, it's usually referred to as American brilliant-cut tableware, late 19th century. A heavy leaded glass blank is hand-cut with copper wheels. Very pretty, and an unusual form. In picture number 4 there is an acid-etched makers stamp, in the middle diamond. I can't quite make it out though. There are lots of ID charts on-line for makers' stamps.

Could it be “cornflower” or is that a design specific only to Huges?

 

The patterns/motifs are not the same...sorry. But great that you have a maker ID !!!
