Hi all it’s my first post, I have no clue on glass collecting and my husband brought this home today found buried at work. I would love to do some research but have no clue of name or age. It’s 11 inches tall and weighs 2.5 kilos. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome, Sparkle. Assuming it was the vase & not the husband that was buried at work? Would knowing the type of workplace be any help in understanding the vase?

Thank you for replying, the item was found in a garden area on a demolition site in London, nothing else found just this. Secondly I got this first pic on by fluke I’m trying to add more pics.

It's useful to know the appearance of age may have more to do with having been outdoors.

The whole area was being dug up it was found buried 4ft deep not just being a garden ornament, I’m intrigued by its shape and what it would have been used for.

Are the little ears the aubergine, brown/purple color they look on my screen? Are there only the 2 or is there a third one out of sight?

I don't really know, but I was thinking maybe an on hand makeshift burial urn for a pet?
