Please help me to identify these figurines germany 1794

    Please help me to identify these figurines. It seems like they're made of gyps. They've got 'Germany 1794' written on the back.

    Sorry but it's unlikely you'll find out too much about them. These types of figurines came over to the US by the boatload and very few were marked with a manufacturer's ID. The manufactures did not see any point in painting the back since no one would see it anyway. And it kept the decorating costs cheaper. Date would probably be early 1900's until WWI.

    1794 would be the company's mold number and not the year it was made.
