I friend sent me a picture of the mark on the bottom of her about 12 inch blue and white vase (only sent a picture of the bottom :( and has asked me to help her with the date and anything else I know. I know very little and have spent the day going through the internet but just haven't found this one. Please help if you can..thank you Capturedelft 2.PNG Capturedelft.PNG

say_it_slowly The worst prison is a closed heart

It's made by de Porceleyne Fles / Royal Delft. The CO is a date code for 1970. The book "Discovering Dutch Delftware" has the artist, CKR, listed as unidentified from 1970.

    Very good company!

It says Delfts, which means it wasn't made in Delft. In Dutch we call it Delfts, but the manufacturers like de Porceleyne Fles use the name Delft. To complicate matters many manufacturers outside Delft also use Delft, without the s.
It is probably made by one of the Gouda makers, maybe NKI (Nederlandse Keramiek Industrie), but sis will know.
