Please Help with POTTERY MARK

I found this little bud vase at the Swap Shop today. Maybe it's nothing, but the stamp on the bottom seemed familiar, so I added it to my pile.
When held at an angle to the light, the bottom stamp is a bit shiny/reflective. It looks like a conjoined "RV", or possible "PV" - similar to the Roseville "RV" mark - but not quite. Maybe that is why it struck me as familiar....
It's a diminuative vase, 3-1/2" H x 1-1/2" max. diameter. It has yellow & orange glaze dribbled around on an antique gold-on-black ground.
If anyone can ID the mark, or tell me anything useful about this piece, I'd appreciate it!
