I have had this mirror for several years. Just trying to get rid of furniture that keeps collecting dust in my upstairs rooms. I probably bought it at an estate sale. It is really different and quite heavy. It has no markings on it. I cannot find anything similar to it. It is almost 3' long and 14 " wide. Has anyone ever come across one like this? Thanks for looking. If you would like a better photo of the front of the mirror just let me know. I had to keep changing the size to get it on here. mirror1.jpg mirror2.jpg mirror3.jpg

It hangs the other way though, right?

Is the frame wood or plastic? If plastic, it's probably by Syroco, like this one. The name should be visible on the back of frame . If wood and there are no marks, then could be by any number of makers. If you Google "mid century eye shaped mirror" you will see many examples from the 50's/60's from Denmark, Italy, etc. Syr.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I like the design, and that it can be displayed in either direction.

The frame is wood and I see no marks but thank you so much for your reply. It will help my search.
