    Hi all.

Please help with any info on this vintage Italy made necklace. I am a complete newbie to jewelry but I want to learn. The clasp says made Italy. That is the only identification on the necklace. Any help with identifying the stones (beads?) and any other info will be much appreciated.

    Regards.

Quartz chips. I'd think 60s from the style and clasp.

I agree, early 60s and very Italian.
I wonder if the 'stones' are glass though.

They do appear to be glass which would be more likely.

Possible, they might be cane slices.

How long is it? If its not choker style or close to it, I might even guess 1980s. Would also suspect glass for the beads.

Agreed. Is it possible these are wee chips of shell or mother of pearl?
