Please need help to Id and date this painting

Dear friends,

I'd like to identify the signature of this beautiful painting (if possible) and be able to date it.
I won it at an auction house in Rome, it was part of a lot of various paintings.
It seems to me a rather old painting that was recently framed.

Not much to go on there, Gianluca, but your painting can't be older than the canvas. P.E.R. Belle Arti was founded in 1979.

The woman's style is reminiscent of a more modern time. She has completely plucked eyebrows, eyeliner, lots of eyeshadow, dark red lipstick, a halter top, and a deep décolletage. Her hair is a brassy dyed color. I'm not saying that the artwork is poor, only the person portrayed has a more modern presentation. You could probably pinpoint it to a time when women started putting blue eyeshadow under their eyes.

no no I explained myself wrongly.
I did not say that the painting is older than the canvas (impossible)
I said that the frame seems to me more recent than the painting.
I mean it's a canvas that was framed later

I can see no reason to not think painting and frame contemporary. If they're not, does it matter? You know your painting dates from between the last two decades of the 20th century and the first two of the 21st. Given the sitter's hair style, I would think 21st more likely.

It Depends from the Nation .. in Italy they did it.
I remember my sisters, with that hair style in 1980-1990 and their classmates

that's why I said that from my point of view, this is an Italian canvas (presumably Tuscan) from the 70s and then later framed in the 80s probably

 

I don't understand, Gianluca. Your work is contemporary; it was painted in 1979 or later. Why does it matter when it was framed?

Woman represents the Trend in Italy of the 1970s style, and framed later in the 80s, so i was only wondering about this difference of time. It's only for personal interest. For sure not for a research of value, i know that there is not
