    A gray-looking stone that flashes bright color when turned a certain way? That would be Labradorite.

    Looks like. You can't be 100% sure from a picture, but it looks like some pieces I have here minus the carving.

    It looks a little too yellow and not enough blue for Labradorite to me I'd bet on Serpentine :cat:

    Looks like adventurine? The blues and yellow look like a reflection?

    A couple more pictures from different angles would help. If it's evenly black, or very dark gray, with a fibrous silvery sheen, it could even be obsidian (especially if it's from Mexico).
