Earlier this month, I bought 3 pocket watches, and one came with this chain

Not clearly visible here, but this:

    is more burgundy and glittery.
    A bit like this

The carabiner is ferromagnetic, the rest isn't.
I think the watches date to late 1800s/ early 1900s
Will the chain be of the same period?

Not sure how old the chain is. Goldstone goes back into at least the Mid-Victorian era but could be older; it's glass with bits of copper in it. It's still made but usually the better it is, the older it is.

Yes, it is goldstone, so pretty glass. The metal is base metal.
Ebay links don't work, but you can copy the text and paste it.

Copy and paste what I did AJ, it’s how I’ve always done it on my iPad and it’s always worked fine before. I’m not sure what else I can do except do a screen shot.

Yes you did, but when you post the link, we shouldn't click on it, but copy and paste the link you posted. So you initiate it, but then we have to do a bit more than just click on it.
    That's ebay's customer service these days.

Wondering why EBay are doing this, surely they want people to see what’s for sale on their site. I’ll screenshot from now on, then people here can make their own decision about what they want to do next.

No idea why they should do it.
Good idea. Posting the link is still helpful as well, as long as people are willing to do the 'work'.;)
