Hi everyone, picked this up today. My question is 2 part. First, is this a hand carved etching on wood? Is it a wood burn etching, carving ?? Second question is how would I describe this piece to sell? What type of art is this?? This is a very detailed piece of the Poland Coat of Arms. I believe this symbol stood between 1927-1945. There is information on the backside to help me research this piece. So, like I said, it is very detailed, very well done, not sure what type of wood it is, 1/2" thick and very solid. To hand carve this would take a substantial amount of time I believe. Even the sides are carved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pyrography - a type of wood burning.
Been popular since the early 1900s - maybe before. They still sell kits.

I don't think yours is old. Obviously from Poland.
