This porcelain bottle was likely a liquor bottle and while it looks old, I'm fairly sure it isn't. It's about 11" tall. It is marked with a script "M" with a crown in a circle 0000000000000000aDSC05637 (1).jpg 0000000000000000aDSC05643 (1).jpg . Thanks

    Thoughts only. Nothing to substantiate.

The crown looks like the Capodimonte crown that was copied by many companies in many countries. However, the impression and "M" make me think possibly Italy in origin.

I cannot enlarge your photos to see the details of the face and hands. There is also the possibility that is it Japanese in origin. They made a lot of items with fake Capodimonte marks.

    Again only thoughts.

The detail of the hands are not very defined.

You may be correct that it is newer. The bottom edge does seem very clean with no real wear. Also the green mottled bottom looks like it was made to look old.

    Sorry, I don't know.

There is (or was) an Italian company called Mollica that used an M and crown mark. I couldn't find this particular mark among the pieces of Mollica I was able to find on the web. It does somewhat resemble their products, though, so I thought I'd throw it out there as speculation. I'm not sure it is a bottle. Seems like it might be a candle holder given the dripping wax at the top.
