Can anybody help with this figurine, seen a couple like this before, with names on front of base, but this one is larger, and seems a better quality

Hoping for a maker and age, no mark on base, have seen a few sitzendorf figures that look similar

    Many thanks $_3 (46).JPG $_3 (40).JPG

You say this is larger, but you don't give a size.

My guess and it is just a guess. 1950ish Japanese. Probably a copy of a better made piece. Possibly the Sitzendorf that your already found.

    Adding:
The Japanese were very good at copying well known pieces.

If you intend to sell it, give it a wash. Clean items sell better.
