Porcelain trinket box or large snuff box.

    This is an eBay buy that arrived today. It is 4.5” wide and hand painted in green and black.

    There is good translucency to the porcelain.

    Seen similar called Bilston table snuff box. Seen smaller ones too, patch boxes. Never had one so not too familiar with them.

    Bilston tends to be enamelled metal rather than porcelain but there are similarities

    Yes, I think the metal threw me off as I’d seen them on the enamelled Bilstons.
