I have no idea what this is, I'm guessing it's a candle holder because of the opening on top. Victorian is also a guess... so as the Spaniel. No mark on the bottom adds to the mystery. I really like the height of it and the theme.... it's 7.25"x4"
Can anyone help with identifying this style, age and perhaps the ma IMG_8609.jpg IMG_8610.jpg IMG_8612.jpg ker?

    Thank you so much!

Looks like it's meant to be a Victorian Staffordshire spill vase but the bottom is artifically aged so not genuine.

One thing to remember about ceramics, a very dirty bottom means repro. Chinese fakers seem to love dirty bottoms, so that could be the origin of yours.
Also, the bottom is flat and rough, it doesn't have the glazed indentation (better term?) of the originals.

(Didn't want to gross anyone out with talk about dirty bottoms, but sometimes it has to be said.:shame::sorry:)

Haha :) So, you are saying this is a Chinese repro? Any idea on the age?

The estate sale was filled with antiques to the brim. Lot's of this kind of figurines and vintage china....It was exciting to see something different, other than Lladro.

It could be. If it is Chinese repro, any time after 2000.:(

Staffordshire is very widely faked and has been for years and years.
