Portuguese globe, mid 20th century

Dear forum members,

I am currently in Lisbon and have discovered a beautiful globe (pictures attached). It has a minibar functionality and the seller says it is from mid 20th century.

It is offered at a price of 900 Euros.

I am not knowledgeable at all in this field. Could someone tell me if this is a fair price, please? I have not found reliable infos with Google.

If indeed old, he'd be right re date. 1960s-ish. Most of these came out of Italy but could possibly be Portuguese or even Spanish. (The map itself should provide clues.) A Google Images search will bring up other vintage examples on offer on internet. From a quick glance, it does seem the dealer's price is roughly at par. Do know that similar in style, if not quality, are available today. (The one below $199 on Wayfair.) I'd be a bit concerned about the map though. It appears to be pieced together and the panels should really be contiguous as on a true globe.
