Working through a large lot of framed art I picked up recently. This etching is not signed that I can see (it may be under the matt). I wanted to know how I can have it authenticated as Whistler or not. The back of the frame has as you can see says Whistler Battersea Bridge. No date but it appears there was a label of some sort on the back that has fallen off. I see the old Battersea Bridge was demolished in 1890, so I am assuming this was done before that.
There are other Whistler etchngs of Battersea Bridge.
    Thanks

Thank you @Debora. I see that it's not very rare so I guess I
can shelve my retirement hopes for a while!
